Not good enough to avoid getting repeatedly owned by Garrett during the UA week.

He seems like a slightly less quick guy than Joeckel but a lot longer, and didn't perform well against Myles Garrett but he seems to have tons of potential. Worst case scenario hes a two year starter at right tackle. Don't know why that's a bad thing.

I saw him play twice his junior year and he was the one player on the field who your eye gravitated towards. He beasted his assignment 100% of the time.

I don't give 2 shits that he got beat a few times by the best DL prospect in the country in 1 on 1 drills at some stupid all-star game. Proves very little.

What do people think. Saw some posts with people saying he was overrated. Sour grapes or some truth to this?

Once Bama teaches him to hold he will have a 10star rating.

All kidding aside, he has everything that you look for in a big tackle prospect but needs alot of work. Tackles take time to gel and after watching him in the AA game he needs to work on getting out of his set a little bit faster instead of letting a DE come to him because once he opens up the speed rush gave him fits. Lorenzo Carter blew around him a few times and that's nothing against him but handling that sort of outside rush is not easy. Kid will be a beast.

It's been kind of hit and miss with Louisiana prospects but they have been good to us over the last few years. I think this one will find a spot on our starting roster rather quickly.

Not sure how quick you mean, but I generally agree. I think he might be overrated, simply because its very hard for an OL prospect to live up to being a top 3 player in your class.

Its very rare for any o-linemen to come out of Highschool and be D-1 ready from the start. From that aspect, I can see why some may say "overrated". I do think he was the best at his position in this class, and has the tools to be a good LT in college and beyond. He'll be fine.

Not overrated. Obviously, with his size and athletic ability, he wasn't challenged in HS, so he'll have to learn how to go to war every play against people at or near his level.
