Posting a link to a list of predictions made weeks ago does prove anything. He hasn't visited Auburn yet. They have no reason to change their predictions until something new happens.

The fact that he has that many AU picks without ever visiting tells you everything you need to know about behind the scenes. His visit will cement it

Truth is no one knows. Both sides feel good. No point at LOLing at the other.

It's not a done deal either way.

Doesn't matter who he commits to in July, he will be a recruit that will change commitments constantly. Won't know until signing day!

He seems like a head ache honestly. I hope he ends up at AU but my LSU brothers will disagree.

I dont disagree. there are positions of need and QB is not a top priority. we took 2 last year and have 6 qb's on the depth chart.

Id rather skip on a QB this year ( i really don't think harris is the #1 DT qb or top 5 for that matter) and take a guy on the defensive side of the ball.

I don't know how Brandon Harris got hyped so much so fast, and he seems to have started to take his recruiters words to heart.

Interesting how most of the well respected national recruiting guys, the LSU guys who are extremely well respected in the recruiting community, and the Bama writers all have him to LSU. And it's Taylor Hamm, a joke of a recruiting analyst, an the Auburn guys making up almost all of the Brandon Harris to Auburn crystal balls...

Somebody is getting trolled to hype up the excitement of his announcement, and I may be an LSU homer, but I don't think it's the home team.

And btw, I'm a student at Auburn so I wouldn't be heartbroken if I got to see Harris ball on the plains for a few years

But I don't think he's auburn bound

He sounds a lot like Perrilloux in that article. Perriloux was talking about he was "gonna shock the world." Granted he was committed to the Horns for a while, but I didnt understand how flipping to LSU on NSD was gonna "shock the world." If he would have committed to Tulane, that may have shocked the college football community. Anyway, I like Harris' cockiness/swag. It's good for a QB to have confidence and he doesn't seem like he's lacking. Whoever gets his signature will be better for it. IMO

The thing is, it's not like he's an LSU fan spurning his childhood team. He and his family don't care about college sports and aren't LSU fans. And I still think everyone is predicting LSU simply because he's from LA. There's really been no other reasoning. He hasn't hyped them up any more than other colleges, and hasn't visited them more than other colleges. Hopefully this whole thing is more clear after he visits Auburn.

Also, I feel like Gus would be showing interest to other QBs if he didn't feel really good about getting Harris. The only news there's been about other QBs is Watson.

He is pretty good friends with some current LSU players and commits. That always plays a roll. And his coaches are probably pro-LSU (not insinuating anything shady...his coaches and LSU's coaches most likely have a preexisting relationship). Traveling distance for his family also favors LSU.

Well, Les and LSU are taking the same approach.

Since he and his family haven't even visited Auburn yet, I still think he is an LSU lean right now. Auburn has more than a puncher's chance at landing him though given our offensive scheme, coach, and atmosphere.

Yeh that was a bad prediction but it is tough to predict the NFL Draft ALWAYS and JW didn't get his chance to go to the combine and work out

But I'll just say that HCD has been the 1st S in most draft projections I've seen for next yr but you are absolutely right anything could happen to affect that

You need to look no further than JBoo or Jameis Winston

DC knew how to play the game to keep the home in-state school off his back and it's no different hear, all the same Bama writers were all saying the was all Bama and even AFTER he committed to FSU, said he would flip etc

This situation is eerily similar
