Sorry to be this direct, but the rest of your oline scares nobody. Rod Taylor will be good eventually, but the others are underwhelming. Plus I question the talent you have at running back. There's a reason Bo Scar thought awhile about OM before signing with Bama. Would have been a starter or second string at OM the minute he stepped foot on campus.

Dude, you guys were spying on our plays. Y'all literally knew every play we called. There is not a single QB in college football that could have executed that game. Freeze should have known Saban would be a snake and hire a guy just to stop our offense.

You don't really believe this, do you? I'm glad Saban hired him because we've clearly had a big problem stopping Ole Miss

quote:

Yup, I am...and that whole defense looks great in professional jerseys. I was clearly joking when I said shitty, but they are unproven and, to be honest, our offense is not the offense you want unproven defenders going against.

Saban's system has proven to be successful. Even one of our worst defenses of the Saban era was still the best in tSEC. I'm not worried.

quote:

Not trying to start something. Just want you to know you're being silly if you think Ole Miss has 0% chance to win the SEC.

I'd put it at 10% chance. I just don't think you have the depth to make a serious run at the SEC.

No, but he learned a big lesson. He's young, he'll make mistakes, but he's also made game winning decisions.

Could you break down how Siskey managed to get the plays to the defense before the snap. Siskey had to recognize the sign, borrow someone else's headset, talk to Kirby Smart, Kirby Smart then communicates the play to the defense who changes their formation to match the play. All before a HUNH snap.

If you believe that I have some lucrative oceanfront property in the Everglades that I could get you a great deal on. Just let me know

Not saying our OL is great, but Aaron Morris? Bama was foaming at the mouth for him. Rod Taylor, same. That leaves a question mark at right tackle and Fahn Cooper will be able to handle it.

As for RB's, Mathers/Wilkins/Walton/Dodson/Judd will do just fine. Keep an eye out for Wilkins, will be a stud.

Not saying he wouldn't, but that doesn't say all that much. Bo Scar is a stud. Yes, Bama RB stable is the best in the country. Could be best stable in history.

Ehh, I try not to believe it, but the fuss Saban made about hurry up offenses last offseason, doesn't make it unbelievable, especially with him scoping every play and then radioing it.

quote:

Saban's system has proven to be successful. Even one of our worst defenses of the Saban era was still the best in tSEC. I'm not worried.

Not saying you should be, but saying that right now, it's not crazy to think our offense can score on them. You're diving way too deep into this. All I'm saying is Ole Miss can play with any team in the West and with some stuff go our way, like AU last year, it's not crazy to think we can win the West.

quote:

I'd put it at 10% chance.

So, there is a chance? Why'd you laugh earlier?

Agreed.

Equal QB, equal RBs, better WRs, better OL, better DEs, equal DTs, worse LBs, better DBs.

Dak - #10
Wallace - #28

From all reviews, Dak looked better at the Manning Passing Camp throwing the ball.

Look at Marcus Dupree. That son of a bitch was better than herschel walker and it isn't close. Only reason he isn't the greatest RB to ever live right now is because his roots fricked him.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about? I would say no, from this statement alone.

Please enlighten me on your expertise of marcus dupree. Unless you are from philadelphia, mississippi yourself, then I doubt you know anymore about him than I do

Damn one question and answer regarding what OM can offer that Bama can't and all hell breaks loose in this thread.

First of all, there's absolutely nothing wrong with anyone wanting to rep their own state and that goes double for smaller states which is most of the SEC and if you minus out flyover country only 3 SEC states have large populations. The rest of us are small or tiny. And some athletes benefit greatly from being close to home where their support systems are strong. It can make the shock of going from a small town or even a city a lot easier to know that friends, loved ones, mentors, and/or people who care about you as a person are close enough for you to lean on them or take a trip home if you need to or for them to hop in the car and come to you. The transition to college is difficult enough for regular students and athletes have their own set of issues to deal with and that is a huge benefit if a kid has a good support system.

On the flip side, there's nothing wrong with going out of state. In fact some kids need to. Some just need to be away in order to grow into their own person and/or see the world outside of their hometown. Others need to get away from from friends, acquaintances, and loved ones who'd drag them down, lead them into trouble and other problems if they stayed around. So there's a benefit there too.

For reference regarding population and why rep'n the state can be a pretty big draw for some:

Ginormous:
Texas 26,448,193 - 8.04% - est. 2013 national rank: 2
Florida 19,552,860 - 6.01% - est. 2013 national rank: 4
Georgia 9,992,167 - 3.10% - est. 2013 national rank: 8

Average for the SEC:
Tennessee 6,495,978 - 2.03%
Missouri 6,044,171 - 1.91%
Alabama 4,833,722 - 1.53%
South Carolina 4,774,839 - 1.48%
Louisiana 4,625,470 - 1.45%
Kentucky 4,395,295 - 1.39%

Tiny:
Mississippi 2,991,207 - 0.95%
Arkansas 2,959,373 - 0.93%

**Note the percentage listed is what each state contributes to the total US population**

Explain. You've never had anything Cleveland Cavs in your ava/sig. Now, it's all over it. Let me guess, your favorite NFL team is the Cowboys or Patriots?

PS: If you haven't heard of Aaron Morris, you don't keep up with recruiting.

Idk what weird rating that is, but here are both players stats breakdown:

Wallace: 64.8% 3348 yards 7.7 YPA 18TDs 10 INTs 138.09 QBR

Prescott: 58.4% 1940 yards 7.3 YPA 10TDs 7 INTs 126.58 QBR

Not from Philadelphia, but I do know him personally. Worked with him for quite a while. He will tell you himself that ultimately what destroyed his career was his lack of work ethic and selfishness.

Did the pastor from Hattiesburg have something to do with it? Sure, but it wasn't his biggest issue at all.
