We asked him to greyshirt and/or pay his own way if he wanted on campus at that point. We'd already figured that he would be the most likely, as he came from a relatively wealthy family in FL.

He wanted a full ride & wanted to be on campus immediately, so we actually ASSISTED him by facilitating the placement with Auburn. We actually helped him sign with another SEC Western Division team, because we respected the kid.
