So why don't you call your 3 stars that are higher, high 3 stars?

a "higher" 4 star is just you trying to jizz on yourself. It's still a 4* and a 3* is still a 3.

What elite RB did they get?

Well they may not be on the level of Bama's but Dodson, Moore and Barber is a hell of a pull. I think Barber is one of the most underrated backs in this class. Hell, they may add Wilkins too.

Point I was trying to make is that UT can't get a single guy like any of these, even with tons of potential playing time behind one of the best lines in the country.

Never thought i would be glad to see a Bama recruiting thread circle jerk but this is so far from the board norm for the past month, bring it on Bama.

not exactly.

Rivals.com has a point system for each recruit. 4*'s range from 5.8-6.0. 5*'s are 6.1.

All of these recruits are 6.0 4*'s. The highest 4* rating you can get.

But please go on about how butthurt you are.

Bama is obviously recruiting the position very well. i think DH is ranked WAY to high (on espn). Do alabama fans expect him to play rb?

Does Bama really need 4 RBs in this class? I look for 2 of them to play other positions. Probably Henry and Kamara.

He'll get the opportunity; it just depends on what he does with that opportunity. If he accepts the coaching, improves his pad level, and proves he can commit to picking up tough yards between the tackles, then I expect him to stay at RB. If he tries to bounce everything outside like he did in high school, then it's a different story.

That being said, I'd trade them all for Fournette next year.

Get used to the idea of having to face him for a few years

Bama RB's taken the last two years? A lot
LSU? 0

Obviously our staff felt the same as you

Not a knock against Bama, but why would 4 talented backs who might start at other schools go to Bama and sit the bench? I can see taking 1-2 backs a year, but 4 in one year, plus guys on the roster? Just seems like a waste of talent to me

If they all show up at least one is gonna leave. Saban uses mostly 2 RBs in his rotation and guys that good are gonna leave if they arent in the mix.

Because those other schools don't have a chance at winning national titles.

I'm an Alabama fan, and I ask myself the same question. Most Alabama fans will reply with some bullshite about not being afraid of competition, but the fact remains the position is crowded. There simply aren't enough touches to go around, unless Alabama all of a sudden decides its going to run 100 plays a game.

Because each one thinks that he's the best of the group and will back up TJ for a couple years, then be the starter, leave after 3rd year, and be a 1st round draft pick. There's definitely a good chance for playing time 1st year for 1 of them. For the others, they can either wait their turn (Lacy), change positions (Calloway), or transfer.

I'm surprised LSU has been able to hold on to all of their RBs but I think they try a little to hard to get all of them reps in certain plays and formations. I dont think alabama is gonna be willing to do that. Seems they always have 2 and the rest are simply used for mop up duty.

Yall think all 4 of these guys are gonna sign or could one flip?

Wonder if this will impact Scarborough's decision next year?

Has happened recently with USC -- couple of the guys always end up transferring.

I assume it'll be different for Bama since they run a different offense.

Well, Henry is already enrolled.

Tyren Jones will sign.

Tenpenny, despite the best efforts of the Arkansas staff seems to not be budging. I think he really believes that he's the best of the four.

Kamara hasn't committed yet.

I would keep the 3 we have, let Kamara go somewhere else and take Rock Thomas next year and hope Burton Burns can work his magic with Fournette. If LF isn't interested we're still in better shape RB wise than anyone else. We don't need Kamara. I'd rather add depth at another position.

And I forgot about Bo Scarborough. Embarrassment of riches.

You're seriously the only one I've ever seen say high 4* .

Can we call the 5.7 3* players basically 4*?
