I think he is the most solid to UA, unless you think UA isn't going to take him.

I'm not sure if the kid is going to make it through his senior year of high school. Just my .02 from being somewhat close to the situation.

I hope he does, and I hope he realizes his massive potential whether it be at Alabama or elsewhere.

The LSU depth chart is very favorable for a top RB to walk right in next year and be a feature back. I would think that would favor us with Fournette, plus the home state thing.

But I sure don't see both Scarborough and LF both signing with Bama. That's a pretty crowded bus.

I think what WDE alluded to earlier (correct me if I'm wrong), and I misunderstood, was that none of these guys take a backseat to the other players.

They don't think "Oh man, better go where I can play right away" in their minds they can play right away anywhere.

Obviously there's only one football to go around and someone is going to be disappointed.

This guy loved us, clearly, in July:

quote:

"From what I’ve seen so far Georgia is better than Alabama,” he said. “They’ve got it going on at Georgia."

Then committed to Bama shortly thereafter, maybe in September? No way he ends up anywhere besides Bama unless Saban tells him to look around IMO.

Hate that for Hart. I never expected him to return with that injury.

Fournette is going to go to Alabama. Why would he want to play for an SEC also-ran?

Fournette is all Tiger.

No way he commits with 4 on the board in T-Town for 2013 and 2 likely's in the mix for 2014.

He'll be a good one.

It will obviously be used against them next year and I doubt they get all 3 of Fournette, Thomas, and Scarbarough (even though he isn't a pure RB). I mean, it wouldn't shock me if they got all three, but I wouldn't bet on it. Had they signed one or two fewer this year, they probably get all three of those guys next year.

I think all 3 of those are better than any signed today.

It will be interesting as it will be used against them constantly next year. May or may not make a difference, but it won't help. And 2/4 of the guys bama signed today are unlikely to take a handoff their entire career at bama I suspect.

Not sold on Bo at RB. Great athlete, just not sure he'll land at RB.

I think I'd rate the 2014 kids like this:

Fournette (LA)
Thomas (AL)
Bo (AL)

Agree about returnman but I would be very surprised if he was moved to D

Kamara - will have a hybrid role of RB and slot WR

RB all the way IMO. This hybrid RB/WR role was discussed for Blake Sims, Chris Jones, Corey Grant, and Dee Hart but I've never seen it play out
