LoL @ 6 back stable and rotating QB

Shame about Sentimore would've accomplished MUCH more in a 4 man front........instead came to Bama to get processed

Kid would'be made it closer to home at LSU I feel

I don't think we ever offered Lacey. I think it was sentimore we offered too late.

That might be so...

We haven't missed him too much though. We have a 6 back stable that seems to be pretty happy.

I would agree... Lacy will end up looking better than your RBs. But it'll be because of the Oline and coaching. Hillard, Ford, etc are quality players.

I agree. Hill is actually bigger than Hilliard, but unlike Hilliard he has breakaway speed.

Hilliard is 6'
Hill 6'1

IDK If I can post the pic so I'll email it.

lol wut? Define look better? He might get more yards and carries because Alabama might feature him, where as LSU has 4 guys, 5 now with Hill.

What's wrong with thinking Lacey will look better?

If Lacy stays healthy and gets enough carries next year, he will break the SEC career YPC mark currently held by Jackson.
My bold prediction for next year.

I understand why LSU went after Ford and TR and hesitated on Eddie Lacy. BUT, in my estimation, EL may be the best of the bunch of recent Bama RBs. This kid is powerful and has major speed. LSU will strongly regret not finding a way to keep him in LA...

I'm very happy with EL. However, I don't think any LSU fan is regretting the RB group they have. As always, though, it will depend on the health/performance of the guys up front.

Having said that, though, I think it is apparent that Nick is making greater inroads into LA talent. Not that LSU isn't always going to have the pick of the kids in-state, but it just might make them pay more time/resources in-state and reduce their footprint out-of-state to a small degree.

First of all, Lacy isn't exactly a speedster. He is a very good power back. Secondly, he had major academic issues coming out of HS. It's almost a miracle that he qualified for college since he had to get straight A's in summer school and had other rumored "help". There was a less than slim chance he would qualify and he ended up making it. Hindsight is always 20/20 but at the time you had to play the percentages and Les did, and I don't fault him one bit fwiw.

Did Altee Tenpenny go to Bama Jr. Day? He committed to Bama on Saturday but I don't know if he did there or not. Help me out.

Wasn't he was leaning to Arky for a while?
