Nice addition to that 2015 class.

Good pick up but the coach in the article is way misinformed on the kid's being eligible right away. He will have to sit a year without a waiver and the NCAA has been denying those pretty regularly since they changed the rules like the kid at Tulsa, I believe.

Yeah. I was wondering about that.

Was Urban trying to process him because of a torn ACL? If so, I would think he would qualify for that "run off" waiver that Dorial Green-Beckham was trying to get at OU last year.

yea he got ran off because of the ACL. Still if Dr. James Andrews clears you. You should be good to go.

Yeah. Seemed pretty premature to process an early enrolee for a knee injury. I wouldn't put it past the NCAA to not approve that waiver, but the kid got the shite end of the stick and shouldn't have to sit out a year. He'll probably have to redshirt anyway, but that shouldn't take away a year of eligibility.

Good pickup. At least he'll be playing in a real conference now.

Dr. Andrews cleared RG3 and he wasn't good to go.

The big thing is who may follow. Coach Wilk at Cocoa is pissed and doing his best to make class of 17 ohio state commit Bruce Judson decommit because of the Dean thing.

Thought UF wouldve made a move considering Chauncey is headed there but its a great pick up for Auburn. Has great speed and is something special with the ball in his hands, but he is very quiet for corner but great kid overall

I don't think anyone knows what exactly happened with OSU. The official word is the medical staff would not pass him, which means OSU was not allowed to have him on the field. Absolutely could have been oversigning.

The only hesitation I have is based on what you said. This kid is everything you want an 18 year old to be. I believe he had like a 3.8 GPA and wants to do engineering. He enrolled early (another potential point of discussion: why would Meyer have wanted him early if he didn't want him at all?), and seems like such a good kid

I really do wish him well, and hope he is an absolute star. He was my favorite kid in OSU's last class, and it upset me probably more than it should when OSU said he would never play a down there. I hope his knee heals and he has a great career, and a little piece of me hopes if he does play OSU he plays extremely well
