I'm still unsure why we offered him out of Prime Prep knowing full well that the NCAA clearinghouse has never accepted a single credit from that school.

There was a different WR from Monroe that year I would have preferred get that offer, and he'd have actually shown up on campus, the Turpin kid at TCU.

Either way, this kid seems to be very physically talented. From what I understand there aren't any character issues with him like there were with Williams. He just got conned into going to a sham high school. Good pick up.

Don't believe so. Out of HS he was committed to Mizzou before signing with LSU

If I were him there would be no way I would go to LSU. Lot's of great receivers in a run heavy offense. He might not see the field very much.
Great pick up though! He was a stud in High school...

Auburn just signed probably the top WR class in the country for 2016 and has led the SEC in rushing 2/3 of Malzahn's season here.

So this kid won't be there come February. As dis-loyal as they come. Great talent that's about it.

Blew up late his senior year, chose Mizzou. Visited LSU and immediately said he wasn't switching after the visit. Flips on NSD. Went to LSU, home state school, no problem here.

But one would figure he would want to be at LSU after JUCO because of his heart and all.

I mean the kids Mizzou lose to juco still end up coming to Mizzou. And Auburn, well Auburn isn't LSU.

Damn, didn't realize he has issues. What kind of narcissist changes his mind about what college he wants to attend? Sounds like Duke Williams 2.0

Anybody would choose LSU over Mizzou. And you realize just because a school signed you out of HS doesn't mean they even have to offer you out of JUCO.
LSU fans, do y'all know if he had a standing offer with y'all?

Close enough. Top colleges of the AP era: LINK
11. LSU
12. Auburn

Twenty years ago before Saban built what LSU is now?
11. Auburn
12. LSU

All-Time records:
-LSU: 770-404-47 (.650)
-Auburn: 742-421-47 (.633)

National Championship:
-LSU: 3
-Auburn: 2

Conference Titles:
-LSU: 14
-Auburn: 12

Division Titles:
-LSU: 8
-Auburn: 8

Bowl record:
-LSU: 24-22-1
-Auburn: 23-15-2

Historically, they're only a small step ahead. Sorry we broke so many records while beating yalls arse in Atlanta.

He does not at the moment. Like Project said no one is going to bash him jumping Guidry in the composite. ESPN and Rivals still haven't ranked JUCOS yet and all the film Scout had was from HS. So while 24/7 Ranked him #1 JUCO WR, Scout made him a 2 star. Thus the drop.

I just think it's great that two former LA boys are that highly ranked at their position in JUCO. WR's grow on trees in LA.

Please, do you really want to compare RB and WR talent on both teams?

By the time he gets to school Fournette will be gone. Dupre and Dural will probably both be gone. Idk who LSU has behind them, but this kid will get to Auburn with 3 years to play and be in a WR corp that looks like:

5* Nate Craig-Myers, Sophomore
5* Kyle Davis, Sophomore
4* Darius Slayton, RS Sophomore
4* Eli Stove, Sophomore
4* Brandon Martin, RS Sophomore

And Auburn is as run heavy as anybody. That part of your argument doesn't matter how good the RB is, just how much running a team does. Although Auburn always has a good RB and your Heisman contender will be gone.

Just pointing out that depth/ competition and run:pass ratio is a dumb argument.

Don't bother with Bowl.

Congrats on the pickup, Aubbie.
