Care to offer any links to investigations of Alabama recruiting irregularities under Saban? No school - not even UGA - is lilly white. All schools live in the gray. Some schools stay in the dark gray more often than the light gray. That said, Bama puts more kids in the NFL and wins more than other schools. That's two of the 6 big things kids look for in a school (relationships, comfort with town, playing time, and education being the others). Bama has a lead on every other school in those first 2. If they can play even on the others it helps make it easier.

Yeah, yeah. Bama's been busted before, it'll happen again.

I think looking at the fact UGA has the strictest drug policy and the fact that Saban greyshirts all the time indicate that there is a small moral difference between the two programs.

That said, I'd take the championships and blue chippers any day though.

The only one that was shady to me was Tunsil. The way that happened would confuse Bama fans too, I would think. We got straight up beat out for Adams. No excuses there.

You're practically quoting me from the UGA board

Some fans will go to any lengths not to call their HC out for being a lazy, mediocre bastard in some aspects

It is what it is

part of the reason i don't like richt is because we don't cheat like champions so i'm in agreement and disagreement with everyone, simultaneously

truth be told, i think it's a combo of our staffs ineptitude and unwillingness to break too many rules

You serious clark?

Your team has damn near more arrests than any fricking school in the country FFS. You really need to get off the high road because your horse seems to be a little acrophobic.

Didn't something like 9 of the top 10 players in Georgia leave the state? Tunsil wasn't exactly breaking the mold

Nice slander towards a person you don't know. Also, thank you for proving my point. No way Bama can do well in recruiting AND maintain honor and integrity, right? Only UGA is capable of that.

We have made a pledge NOT to oversign OR overcommit...still waiting on Bama to do the same.

Let's be real here. You've NEVER locked down Georgia. Ever.

Ya think? They're over 180 FBS signees in this state.Like saying UF,Texas or USC NEVER lock down their states.

Says the guy with THIRTY TWO commitments.

No one expects you to lock down 180 kids, champ. You'd think UGA, as the state's university, would be able to get more than 2 of the top 15 in the state though.

How many players has Bama put in the NFL the last 4 years compared to other schoools? How many have they put in the 1st round compared to other schools? I only use the 4 year mark b/c that covers a current recruit's high school career.

15 EE's dumbass.

We had 69 guys on scholorship last year and the main reason is our pledge NOT to oversign and we also don't offer 4 year deals like AU and UFAG did last yr. (a very cheap trick IMO)

So now you're picking and choosing which years your guys go to the NFL? Kinda like your 22 MNC's

Not really that many arrests. Mostly team/drug violations that we actually punish unlike some schools in the SEC.

Lol, I love this excuse, "we can't get me all!", no shite dumbass. Yea you can't sign 180 players, but you sure as hell can do better than 2/10 for the top players in the state.

UGA fans are pathetic, everybody is cheating, and ole poor Richt gets screwed over for playing by the rules. Give me a break.

Sure, don't put any blame on the main man in charge for being an apathetic recruiter, and poor evaluator. Add in the guy does a horrible job effectively pitching UGA, and making relationships. Sales/recruiting isn't for everyone, it takes finesse, skill, tact, etc.

All Richt does is throw up the Christian flag, sings happy bday on the phone, and sometimes promises playing time. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the guys a hypocrite, and cheesy. Hmmmm let's see, Richt says he creates a Christian environment, but yet Crowell is cruisin around campus with a hand cannon burning blunts with teammates. And how many arrest have happened?

Time to get the violin out, and make assumptions while talking out of your arse.

Pretty sure the rules don't have anything to do when you're hot boxing on the way down to spring break and a state trooper pulls you over.

I love how the definition of "oversign" always gets more complex when the whiners start doing it. When it's your rival, you just look at the total number of commitments. When it's you, there's always an explanation.
