Let's see what Strong does at texas first, shall we? We already know that Sumlin's bettering him in recruiting at this point, but we'll see how this year goes.

They've never had to fight for the same recruits before. They're in separate conferences, yet right down the road from each other. One is trying to rebuild a powerhouse that's fallen on hard times and the other is trying to win in the toughest division in the nation. All that's really going to come into play is how they're able to handle the pressure of competing in each others' spheres.
Also, they're both the first black coaches at their respective universities. Significant or not, it's just another example of how different the game is now for either coach, regardless of their careers up to this point.
Like I said, we'll see how it goes.
