How he did in a couple all-star game has exactly zero bearing on how good he'll be in college.

This is the awesome part...find the post where I said that, (**Spoiler** I never did.)

Now if I'm not writing that, but y'all are thinking that, what does that mean?

Y'all keep bringing up how overrated he is based on these all-star games. Ratings are a projection of how good he will be in college. So you're saying that how well he could do in college is affected by his all-star performance

I didn't say that in this thread, I just posted his and a bunch of other player's stats from the game. Do you feel like he's overrated?

You made a comment about Park specifically before any UGA fan made a post in this thread

I'm not qualified to say one way or the other. It looks like he has good size, good athleticism, and a live arm, so I have no complaints. He makes some bad decisions but that can be fixed by college coaching

You're right, in the Shrine Bowl thread I did indeed write that Park was overrated. Then he went to the US Army Bowl and put up similar stats...really similar actually....Only 1 complete pass in both games with over 6 attempts in each, a turnover, no TD's and negative rushing yardage.

Who knows, maybe one day we'll all be talking about how underrated he was coming out of HS. Maybe just the 2 games against D1 talented defenders are a complete fluke. Maybe he just really needed 1.5 weeks to prepare for a great game. Maybe he could one day be the GOAT.... However, even if none of that comes to fruition, he'll always have Mr Football SC, that will be with him forever.

Yes, in response to TT's pasting Park's stats and writing "Ouch"

Indeed, but you didn't just post stats, which is what you said earlier.

The OP was just stats, the interpretation from other people came from those stats. Besides that comment was fair and balanced, he did have 2 awful All Star games, but he is SC Mr Football and that's what I wrote.

Why do you think Park has such a tough time with All Star games and other QB's don't?

Because he's very raw compared to other QB prospects, like I said earlier.

I still don't know what that necessarily means, did he just start playing QB this past year?

I have no idea, but according to the commentators on the Army bowl telecast, he only started to pursue a college football career in the Summer of 2012. That's way behind other QBs of similar regard. That would lead me to believe he probably hasn't had much of the personal QB coaching that most of the top prospects have at the position.

When you watch him play on tape and on TV, his physical skills are evident. It seems like sometimes the game is moving pretty fast for him, which would seemingly indicate a lack of development.

It's true you can't teach tall and fast, which this kid definitely is. He is a project. Where I think we have a dispute arrising is that Spurrier and Mangus have taken projects in the past (Tanner Mcevoy) and the present (current commit Scarnecchia) and made a place for them on the recruiting board, but didn't pursue Park. That is a little troubling. But at this point in time it's all conjecture (both his career highs and his all-star game lows) and this kid could be something great in the years to come.

For sure. Every staff evaluates differently.

I am not saying that Park is a can't miss prospect. He definitely needs some development. I just think people make too big deal out of these all-star games.

Park will never start for Georgia.. and if he ever does, you're not winning a championship or anything.. Dawgs have zero sense evaluating QBs

he does have a chest tat. There's a history of chest tatted QBs winning championships

Did you see the mfcker(Park) out there with his jersey rolled up like a DB? I give the dude credit for being a rare breed and not giving a shite.

But damn.

Yeah he definitely seems to be a little rough around the edges. It's going to be hilarious if he ever does start to see the reaction from the good ole boy UGA fans

I get the feeling he's a good kid.. Obviously he can throw the ball well & he's a beast in the drills... But I do not think he realizes that the honeymoon is over & that they are about to push his shite in.. he can either handle it and do better or he can just try to fit in and enjoy Athens as a backup..

Ramsey... Does this guy even have it???
