No we didn't, we finished the year ranked #5 and will be there or close in the preseason rankings. Mizzou needed him for that, but it's one receiver, their overall class is not very good

I understand, and you are right, I meant the recruiting perception. I believe in our staff's ability to develop players. I think it is the best in the country at development. On the field, you are right, we are there.

I think it's a mistake, in terms of picking the right system. Aside from Jeremy Macklin, what other WRs has Missouri produced lately that people are aware of (aside from Missiouri fans)? We have three WRs this year who will all get drafted (and if Childs doesn't, I think someone will pick him up as an UFA because of potential).

But he faced immense pressure to stay in-state and be the hero. It's understandable, but it sucks.

Hogs really need some inexperienced (after Cobi) WRs to step up next year. Would have been nice to have DGB and Gardner who could play immediately.

Did this put Missouri inside the Top 50?

Might sting a little bit now, but it's one play at a position we have so much talent at yearly.

Missouri really needed him worse than we did, now I really can't wait to watch Florida, Bama, UGA, South Carolina etc, beat the hell out of Missouri next year.

You guys stop. He's a bad arse and will do well at Mizzou.

Well, he will probably be damn good but no WR can carry a team, especially if you are a dink and drunk offense like Pinkle runs. He might make the difference in Mizzou finishing ahead of Vandy but that's it.

The Tigers have no running game and really don't strive to have one. Also, I don't think they will sign any OL this year and that doesn’t bode well for the Tigers in the future.

At least he didn't go to a strong SEC team like Bama. That would have really been troublesome.

I'm hearing we backed off at the end. We were full at WR and DGB doesn't fit our system well.

I heard the same thing, he's gonna be playing in the California Penal League before too long.

We ARE fine at WR, but I can't buy that rumor.

We've still got a hell of a WR class and it would have hurt MIZ a hell of a lot more than us losing DGB.

Diamond would go a long way towards saving today.

I really feel bad about this because dgb is a good kid. However I hope he never wins a college game. I hope he is happy with whoever the frick Mary mauk is. He should have just gone to Texas at least then I wouldn't feel bad for him.

It couldn't have been anything about Mizzou's facilities or atmosphere that's for sure

I hate losing DGB, but I'm really happy that the b.s. concerning Peters flipping back to TN turned out to be b.s.

I noticed Winston's LOI isn't in yet.
