I keep reading it will be LSU. Should be an interesting signing day for several recruits.

In about 5 hours Key will announce. Even after an announcement, I don't know if he'll stick with that choice until his LOI is signed, sent and received.

Are the Tigers still confident that Key will pick LSU? There are a lot of 247 media people that are switching their CB's to LSU the past 72 hours.

Too bad y'all didn't pick up Chad Kelly as well. Key and Kelly both seem like prima donna attention whores. They would have made a primo dual form of cancer for any team and I'm sure would've been wonderful roommates and bff's.

So decommitting from a college is the same as getting in a bar fight and threatening to shoot the bouncer with an AK-47?

Quit acting like a child. You know you want him. Hell, you might still get him. This kid will probably keep it interesting until his papers are faxed.

I agree with all that. I hope he comes to SC, and nothing will be final with him until a singed LOI is received, there are at least 12 witnesses, one of them being his legal guardian or his grand ma-ma, some DNA verifcation independently verified by at least 3 independent sources and pics...got have pics.

The way he has committed and decommitted from USC not once, but twice, only to say that he still had USC in the lead, then back peddle and include Auburn, then cancel the OV to Auburn, then back peddle again and say that LSU is now in the lead...it just gives me huge pause on this kid. Someone else on the USC site mentioned it could just be him having fun with the whole process, and it could be, but it could also be a symptom of a much, much larger issue with him.

I'd love to have someone with his talent at USC, no doubt about it. But these antics of his have worn thin with most of us. I'm just not sure what to make of him at this point, honestly.

I think the thing to remember about him, is that he's just a kid. He's coming into "fame", a lot of people are giving him attention, and he's enjoying the process. I think he decommitted the 2nd time b/c he was looking for more attention/hype and he got exactly that. He may choose SC, he may not I think his real announcement will be when one school puts up a pic of his signed LOI.

Dont get me wrong here I would love to have him back in the fold but i wont lose sleep if he goes to LSU. He is a great talent, and akid having a ton of fun with the process. I would probably have fun too, just the way it was handled has rubbed me the wrong way. I wish the kid good luck no matter where he plays. I wouldnt be surprised to see him commit to Blue Mountain State at this point in the process.

Which is mainly what my point has been as well in my previous posts regarding Key. I remember Clowney, even Lattimore, having fun with signing day and pulling the "hat trick" just to add some drama to it. But, they didn't jerk us around like Key has, either. Decommitting twice is just a little much. If he chooses to come to USC and is a solid team player with his talent, I'm sure everyone's memory of all of this will be very short. Have him come here and bust and this is all they'll remember. Have him go to LSU and then run us into the ground when we face him, and it'll sting, no doubt. I'll be glad when all is said and done, signed, sealed, delivered, enrolled, in classes, on the Proving Grounds and in pads. Until then, I won't believe it.

I'd imagine that he is going to LSU.

How many times did he decommit from South Carolina?

Officially, twice. Then "unofficially" had us still as his fave in between Auburn and now LSU.

Just remember that recruitment is the only time the player has the power. After signing day, the school holds almost all of the cards. It is in the best interest of the players to pick the right school.
