Just wondering.
Heard some things today.
DB, JuCo, transferred from UGA but Kirby wants him ... so does everyone else.
Things are heating up with him ... figured someone would know more.

Is he the guy originally from Mississippi?

My guess is he ends up at Bama with Pruitt again.

He was somewhat a liability as a freshman, as expected. He was forced into action because a lack of top line depth at star. He was upset about the departure of Pruitt so he transferred out. I think he’ll be a good player down the road. As mentioned, I’d be surprised if he ended up anywhere other than Bama because of his relationship with CJP.

I think we land him. He's gonna be on campus this weekend. Should know very soon.

I think, based upon what I am hearing and was told, that SCAR has an above average, if not excellent, chance of landing him because he liked it here and he can play immediately ... plus he likes the coaches recruiting him. (T-Rob and Lance Romance)
I was basically told, by someone inside who usually knows the score ... it's between SCAR and Bama. He wants to name his choice soon and get it over with but evidently something really good happened with him and SCAR.
He's got some kind of major connection to someone here at SCAR which I was not made privy-to, but whatever ... it's just a FWIW.
We need DBs who can come in and play right away. We're desperate to find a couple and we have room for them. Plus, he liked the fact that his favorite number is available ... I guess that was important to him as it is with so many athletes.

if the 247 profile is correct he is actually from Columbia, MS about 30 min from Hattiesburg. Columbia is where Walter Payton went to HS, but Abram went to East Marion aka even more out in the sticks.

Would he be class of 2017? This is the first I have heard of him.

I've heard it both ways ... that he might be able to enroll over the summer and make it in in-time for this season ... and that he could enroll in January and be ready for next season.
It just all depends.

I don't see how that could be the case with him having just played at Georgia this past season.

If he enrolls over the summer he will still have to sit this coming season ... but he wants to get here and sit.
If he enrolls in January he will be able to participate next Spring.
I said nothing about him playing this year ... only enrolling.

Any update on this guy? Demetric Warren just CB'd him to LSU which is interesting considering the 3 safety prospects LSU is already recruiting for 2017.

Abram would have had a great shot to be UGA's starting SS this season, he started 4 games as a frosh I believe. 6'2 215 with 4.45 speed he has a ton of upside, that one hurt when he decided to transfer. I don't have any info where he ends up but somebody will be getting a good player, probably a future pro.

Yeah got a Crystal Ball for LSU on 247 but I dont know how the guy could commit to LSU.
We got Grant Delpit, and most likely landing Jacoby Stevens and Todd Harris.
Not sure LSU is in the market for a JUCO safety with all the guys we got or are going to get.

From what I know, the two big factors in him leaving were Pruitt and homesickness. My guess is Bama precisely for those reasons (Pruitt and closer to home than UGA).

The fact that the crystalline ball is demetric Warren is what has me intrigued. He's pretty in the know in miss.
