Recruiting is just more fun when we get to fight with Bama fans. We didn't really cross paths much in '16.

Do we have some common targets this year? Auburn AD is back in the black so beware.

Also, I'll just go ahead and say hi to Rashaan Evans since I know he'll be all in this thread.

Markail Benton could be a battle, though playing time and friends are heavily in AU's favor. One I'd really be shocked to see Bama win.

His father prefers Auburn but his stepfather is pushing bama. He lives with his mother though.

Bama gets who they want. Auburn does not win many head to head.

I'm not sure if we're pursuing Ignont but if we are I could see that being one. Maybe another bammer can shed some light.

Typically but not always. Davidson was a take. I expect Benton at Auburn. We may have a light LB class next year. I think Moses picks LSU in the end (favors Bama today) and Georgia ends up with Mcbride. It's going to be easy to recruit against us there with Wilson and Davis coming in this year

Not always, but with the 5* in-state kids that's usually the case. There have been 16 five start in-state kids since 2008. Bama landed 12. FSU landed 2. AU landed 2.

It always looks that way initially but the play RS Soph year, 1-3 round NFL after Junior year is usually the winning pitch

Some kind of defensive staff continuity would help

True, but Bama has also proven that if you are talented enough, you'll play as a FR regardless of position or depth.

LB - McClain, Hightower, Mosley all played as FR
CB - Kirkpatrick, Milliner, Hump, Fitzpatrick, Harrison, Clinton-Dix, Barron
DL - Payne
OL - Smith, Koundjio
RB - Ingram, Trent, Yeldon, Henry, Harris, Scar
TE - Howard
WR - Julio, Amari, Ridley

That pitch helps, for sure.

I'm sure they will, but he's had more pro AU and LSU things to say than about Bama.
