So essentially, which ever school offers the girlfriend a track scholarship will prevail in the end? I’ve been quoted on here many times saying Preston is a stud WR, but he isn’t worth 2 scholarships. JMO of course

AJC gets butthurt easily and writes a lot of garbage when it comes to in-state recruits not going to UGA.... common knowledge amongst those that can read.

You are delusional. The AJC is about as anti-UGA as it gets.

Last 3 AJC articles I read about in-state recruits going to TN were just trashy articles bashing UT.
Who does the AJC right good articles about then? Tech?

No one. Negative pieces generate more interest

They're a buncha hacks who only care about hits. Even if they write decent articles they'll title it to piss us off and get hits.

Well, I regret that I'm about to post this, but...
"I am giving other schools a chance," said Williams. "I still see myself as a strong Tennessee commitment, but I have other visits lined up, and I am still going to talk with other coaches."
"I just felt at home the first time I was visiting, then it was the same every other time. I feel good when I am there, I get along great with the coaches, and it is like home up there for me."
"Florida is my No. 2 school right now," said Williams. "I really like Coach Phillips a lot and he has me looking at Florida.
"Florida has been on me hard and*Georgia*has too. I have them right there with Florida at No. 3. I have been in contact with Coach [Tony] Ball almost every day for a few weeks now. I will be visiting Georgia soon.
"Alabama*and*South Carolina*are in this also and I will be at Alabama on March 1, then I will visit South Carolina March 29. I have a lot of schools coming, so I want to get out and see other places."
-scout
Sound like a lot of schools are interested and his commitment doesnt seem to be 100% either... this may get interesting.

The top 50 receiver also has a connection to the South Carolina program.
"I have a teammate Rico McWilliams there. He plays corner and is like a big brother to me. He's been talking to me about South Carolina."
We only took 2 receivers last year, but we haven't taken a receiver with his type of "Alshon" frame/production capability in 2 years, so he would fit a huge need in next year's class.

Well, it was Tony Morrell the SC Insider who picked him to flip, but he did say he wasn't just trolling, so there may be something to this.

If we are going to pursue him which appears to be the case, i hope we keep our female track athletes instate. DWI

Preston Williams now a 5 star on 247... also, number one WR in the country.
