AJ Swann just committed to LSU as a transfer.. Should be a solid depth fill at QB? LINK

Am I wrong is seeing that he committed to SC like 4 days ago?

Honestly, I don't mind that he is going to LSU, he is going to be a backup wherever he goes and is probably a better scheme fit for LSU, I just don't understand committing one place, only to recommit to another just days later

Didn't SC just get another transfer?

I know it was down to LSU and SC... never saw that he committed to SC but I could be wrong. Would he have started there? If so, that's interesting he chose LSU instead since he will be the backup (barring Nuss injury)

I could have sworn he committed, but either way its really not a huge deal.

No he wouldnt have started at SC, the job is Sellers to lose. LSU will be a good place for him in all honesty

Even if he doesn't win the job, he's got to be close to graduating. He could get some good coaching then transfer as a grad.

he was a true sophomore this season. He was an EE, but he's only been in college 2 full years.

As others have said, he's prob the highest rated portal QB who doesn't expect to start right away. Good get for LSU because they don't have to worry about Nuss leaving and being in the same position depth wise, having a young backup with no real experience.

Ask FSU what a competent backup could do.

Whether he wins the starting job or not. I’d rather spend money and have a solid replacement if needed.
