We just started talking to joejuan again this week.
Both sides have moved on for Eric Monroe, we wanted him at corner and he's struggled in coverage this season. He wants to play safety now (was previously on the fence) likely because he's struggled at corner.
Ross blacklock is a priority target for us, LSU/A&M battle all the way.
Deontay Anderson likes A&M a lot, but is below Brandon jones on our board. Father said they are waiting on concrete plan for how A&M is going to get them both on the field. I wish we'd push for him harder, not like we couldn't find a place for a DB with elite speed. There were questions about how much of a football player he was and if he could be physical or just a track star/athlete but he'sreally improved this season.

DC and DL coach are both LSU grads. Supposedly, North Shore has historically been very pro-LSU. I didn't start following recruiting until a couple years ago, so I have no other info than that.

A&M has more trouble recruiting North Shore and Dallas Skyline than any other schools in the state... just one of those things i guess.

Liberty-Eylau DE Lagaryonn Carson committed to Texas today. So, I doubt he shows up.

He will probably show up to watch Tra. It is a long time until signing day of 2017. I bet the depth chart was a concern for him. A&M has gotten the commitment of several "Blue Chip" DEs over the last couple of years, while Texas has only picked up a few developmental projects.

His hs coach said he's not anywhere close to done with the process, and wanted to lock in a commitment now to mitigate the risk of injury..
A&M may have wanted to wait a while before he commits since he's a 17 commit?
I'd say it definitely is good news for texas either way, but it's not a done deal.
