Yep. Just like Eason.

Idiot.

Are you, for some reason, suggesting that he's not?

Why is that I said a troll? You know recruiting relationships develop over the course of a year to multiple years. Kirby Smart likely had very little to do with his decision or anyone that commits this year. Kirbys effect will be way more relevant next year.

What you are doing is allowing yourself to believe that Kirby Smart is somehow a master recruiter and pumping yourself up before the real results are actually presented.

This kid committed because it's his home state school in the SEC and close to home. That has way more to do with it than "Kirby doing work". Unless Kirby called him up and whispered sweet nothings in his ear over the phone because that's about the extent of contact that can be had in the dead period.

He is a good recruit and I'm sure he is going to be a fine football player for UGA. I'm not taking anything away from the kid. Just trying to ground your fanbase a tad

I actually agree with the vast majority of this. I think Nauta was coming here for awhile.

That and beating GT. Why the heck are you on a SEC Board talking about UGA commits?

Surely you know the old joke: What do Georgia fans and Georgia Tech fans have in common?

They're both obsessed with UGA.

I am on here because I follow recruiting quite a bit and I don't have much to say about my own team. Our class to this point is terrible IMO. Unless we end up pulling Donovaughn Campbell (LSU commit), Makhail Carter (UGA lean) or Demetrius Robertson (OV set to GT last week before NSD but it ain't happening) we have some weak sauce.

UGA has a damn good class this year. Hopefully for you guys Smart will actually coach them so that your hardware reflects your recruiting. For years now UGA has recruited great but the old staff just never seemed to maximize their potential.

Yeah, Eason was just trolling Florida. Ridley was coming here despite never visiting or even having an offer.

Congrats Georgia. Kid is a complete tight end. Could be very similar to hunter Henry but maybe a bit more athletic. Georgia is going to be a force if Kirby can manage all this talent which I think he will. Big get.
