But Pike was always getting into with fans and talking about other schools on twitter. Plus he had some childish actions that got him in trouble. I can't think of anything like that for Marlon Humphrey. This was an isolated incident and blown out of proportion. It was something he witnessed while on his brother's recruiting trip to Oxford in 2010.

On your rankings, why wouldn't Bama be higher if they beat all those teams in the NCAA Championships?

Agreed, but he was our douche. Until he became unbearable near the end of the summer.

I will admit, I don't like seeing Cornwell tweeting his stuff about recruiting. Reminds me of early Pike.
Agree to an extent. I don't think he's nearly as bad though

Those were the final rankings for the season. This was after the NCAA championships.

ole miss now apparently has a top15 track program

The gap between top 5 and #15 in collegiate T&F is HUGE. Like SEC to CUSA in football type huge. Good to see Ole Miss investing more in the sport however. The SEC can take even more of the top spots.

I know, but he started with I am going to recruit all these players to AU. He was the first I remember doing that at that level. More do it now, but I would rather Cornwell keep it down. He already did the Monday commit thing.

I know the rankings, but didn't we finish top eight or something? Thought we finished with LSU.

We finished 11th in the country when the NCAA championships concluded. It is in the link I provided above.

the last KKK "march" in Oxford was in 2009. And even if it was on his brothers visit he could of made it clear that there was about 300 students/faculty there protesting it.

Also, to make claims that we hold rallys every month and that everyone was dressed in white robes is just fricking ignorant.

Then he pretended like he did nothing wrong until finally he "apologized"

Pretty sad you finish eighth and move up one spot to 17th.

ETA: I see now. Must have fallen quite a bit in the last event.

Well it was 2009 when he saw it then. Regardless, he's African American, so that would lead me to believe it is a bit more appauling to see something of that nature. I realize it wasn't associated with the University of Mississippi in any way, but for those bystanders it probably wasn't the best of impressions considering the salutary past at Ole Miss.

Just realized the rankings are pathetic. UF shares NC and drops from 1 to 4. Wow

He's 17. Why did we do half the stuff we did at that age? He was being attacked on twitter and was probably tired of it.
