5* OT Greg Little
What we know:
-Former TAMU commitment.
-He has taken four OVs (Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Georgia) and has one planned to Ole Miss for the last weekend in January.
-He has postponed his announcement twice.
-Ole Miss was his likely destination before delaying his announcement.
-The championship game for his high school is December 19th. He probably won't announce before then.

If you'd like to comment on how Alabama will never beat Ole Miss again or that tLandmass pays more than the NFL, please direct your discussion to the other thread or tRant. Or just ban yourself entirely. TIA.

Little said Freeze is one of the main coaches recruiting him for Ole Miss, in addition to recruiting coordinator/defensive line coach Chris Kiffin and co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Matt Luke.
What are they telling Little?
"'Come on, man. You have a chance to earn a spot if you work hard. In a couple years we'll be special.'"
Little's most-recent official visit came a week ago, when he took in Alabama's 30-16 win against LSU in Tuscaloosa on Nov. 7. Little came away impressed by the trip.
"It was great, man," he said. "It's very business-like. It definitely gets you prepared for the next level. I feel like they make you a man there, so I liked it a lot."
Little said his primary recruiters at Alabama are head coach Nick Saban, receivers coach Billy Napier, and offensive line coach Mario Cristobal.

Little, the No. 1 tackle in the country, recently delayed his commitment to a date yet to be determined. Alabama and Ole Miss are the two presumed favorites at the moment to land Little's services. The Tide would like to add Little to its already stellar offensive line class that includes five-star tackle Jonah Williams and the No. 1 overall JUCO tackle Charles Baldwin.
BOL on Greg Little

Have you read the last five pages of it? Total dumpster fire. Nobody wants to read all that shite to get information.

I agree let the shite thread die

Nice work on this thread. I still think we'll be alright but the delaying has put some stress on us all.

Who has the best "relationship" with his handler?

Thanks for this thread, it was needed. That other one needs to be burned.
He really likes OM, but there is a large TAMU contingent in his family as well.
I am not sure Bama is in it, unless they offer a tackle spot.

I think we gave him second thoughts on announcing to OM last week. That was the best we could hope for at this point. The real question is if he will visit us again. If he does, we have a chance. If he doesn't, he's still OM bound.
In terms of tackle spots, I think we are offering him a chance to compete at RT and start at LT for two years before heading off to the league. This, of course, assumes he can beat out Lester Cotton, Jonah Williams, and Charles Baldwin (assuming he doesn't flip).

Huh??? I thought he was solid to y'all. Who is in the game to flip him?

It's not an issue of another team being poised to flip him, it's all about Cristobal. If Cristobal leaves for Miami word is Baldwin MIGHT start to look around.
Baldwin is taking his OV to Alabama this weekend so I imagine the speculation will end one way or the other.

He likes Cristobal a lot. He might even follow him to wherever he ends up coaching. He's the only likely casualty of the coaching carousel.

Baldwin quote from today FWIW:
quote:
“I’m staying true to my commitment,” Baldwin said. “Other schools have been reaching out to me, but Alabama is my home.”

What do you expect him to say

I think that's why Saint said FWIW

If Cam Robinson was a junior, I think Little would be Bama-bound. You know kids these days, they want to play their position and they want to play it ASAP. Little doesn't want to redshirt or play guard.

You would think most people would get something like that by now.

I think the only thing that could change the tide for us is if Ole Miss completely implodes over the next three games (regular season plus bowl game) and Alabama wins the cfb playoffs. Not likely to happen, but probably Alabama's only hope to get back in it.
