D'Shawn Hand is going to get him to Alabama.

If Settle was looking to form a super DL, I'd think the prospects of playing with guys like Mekhi Brown, Daron Payne, Da'Shawn Hand, etc, would excite him a lot more.

UT is definitely on the come up. Congrats guys!
As mentioned, I do like our chances with Settle due to Mr. Hand.

Stay away. You filthy rich bastards don't need him. Let other SEC schools eat for once.

It looks like Tennessee is number 1 on that list. Apparently the prospect of playing with Khalil is more appealing to Mr. Settles.

For now. He's very tight with Da'Shawn Hand.

Kid from California recruiting him to Tenn or a kid whom he grew up with and could be living with him on his OV? I like our chances.

Kahlil McKenzie grew up hearing plenty about Tennessee, with his father and uncle both being Knoxville, Tenn., natives who played for the Vols and went on to spend several years in the NFL.

Ironically that was the fan bases biggest question mark. Can this guy who coached in the Big East and is from Michigan come down to the SEC and recruit at a competitive level. He's done an awesome job so far

He's gotta translate on the field, and I think he will. Even with the hurdles he faces I'm eager to see the season start. He's had big turn arounds from year 1 to year 2 in both his previous programs. If he can do 6 or 6+ wins next season I would call that a successful season. I think he'll get it too

It is great this this kid is favoring Tennessee, but the fans should probably wait until some of these kids start commiting before they celebrate too much.

Tennessee probably has the 5th or 6th best recruiting class in the SEC right now. Alabama and Auburn could both easily have around fifteen 4 and 5 star commitments before football season starts back up. Tennessee will probably have a hard time catching up with that

Right now we sit at 5th in the SEC, 1st in the SEC East.

Although we had 16 - 4* or 2 - 5* & 14 - 4* last year depending on which site you use, I don't think this years class will be as deep because of the number of scholarships allowed. Do I think Jones is good enough at recruiting to replicate that? Absolutely. However it's not going to kill us if he doesn't. The only team in the West that we'll face with a class higher then us over the last 2 years is Alabama.

If we can continue to be in the top 3 in the East in recruiting, I'll take that all day long considering that's who the majority of our opponents will be year in and year out.
