This is from an interview from Al.com

He said Alabama was the No. 2 school in his process, noting his relationship with Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart. Georgia also figured heavily into the mix.
"I hope they do (recruit me) because of the fact that it's not over," Davidson said. "It's not the end of my decision. It's just the beginning. The only thing they've got to do is recruit me. I want to be recruited."
Is he serious or trolling for attention, Auburn fans?

I have no clue, but given his comments and the history of Bama boning Auburn on NSD... he gone.

The media needs to quit shamelessly promoting these press conferences as commitment announcements and promote them for what they are..."Current Leader announcement" or "If I had to choose today" announcement.
Probably wouldn't get as many views, clicks, etc. so never going to happen.

Isn't he trying to be an Early Enrollee? If so, he will enroll and take classes during a dead period. Should be all Auburn, but I'll bet their breathe will be held until he enrolls at AU.

People can bitch and moan all they want, but we're all to blame. If you follow recruiting relatively closely, then you've contributed to the problem. I'm guilty as well. But these kids are national celebrities in high school. Before they were just famous locally. Social media really made things absurd.
But it's not going to get better anytime soon. Americans have never been known for their humility. As long as grown men verbally fellating Guido tedious on Twitter, a coach Erik have to be ready to derecruit the top kids.
