Looch is almost a bigger homer than Taylor Hamm, and is a very loyal mouthpiece for the staff. Anything he says should be taken as the most spun version of the truth possible.

Absolutely. All of that and he's friends with Sumlin. He'd do anything to spin the truth.

I don't know that he's friends with Sumlin, but I do know he's the only Aggie writer who is allowed to talk to the staff, and they keep a close eye on what he says. Basically he pumps sunshine or he's cut off.

Don't worry folks!! The Aggies do still have Speedy Noil who they stole from LSU out of New Orleans. They can always fall back on that....

I think Looch was there when Sumlin was there previously as an assistant coach and became friend with him? Can't remember how but remember them being friend from before Sumlin was hired.

I believe this is the case as well from what I know. But yes, Looch pumps the sunshine hard. He's turned a little more negative since the debacle in December. If he goes full blown negative it probably bodes poorly for the current staff
