So, did Georgia hire his mentor so that Ridley would commit?

There's no solid indication that they did.

nope, but I hope we do.

Basically most colleges thought he was a lock to Bama and did not pursue him hard. After his commitment to Carolina, around 10 schools, including UGA were in contact. That's why he backed off of the USCe commitment.

So a phone call or Twitter message convinced him to commit and sign to a place that he'd never been to, with a coaching staff he hasn't interacted with much (apart from Smart)?

I'm calling bullshite.

We're just that cool.

To be fair, he knew Coley, and UGA makes sense for the same reasons South Carolina did but with a better football team.

Cavin at least OV'd to USCe before committing there. Take off the red and black glasses for a second. This doesn't seem even a little fishy to you?

Sure, but I don't really give a frick.

From a football perspective, UGA made sense. That's all I'm saying.

I mean this with no ambiguity. I hope we fricking cheat so bad now. We've been walked on in our state for recruits every year and laughed at for being honest and "richting". The sheer fact a bama fan is saying another team is doing something suspicious is frickin hysterical and Im thrilled about it.

I mean, we've had this go both ways before. It's a part of how the game is played. It's just better to accept it and move on than to dwell on how fishy it is. I've learned and have since been cured of my tunsilitis.

It feels about as fishy as it did when Derrick Henry flipped from a year-long commitment with UGA then promptly posted pics of his crimson Charger.

I think it had more to do with him not being a take at some other schools, so UGA was a better option than SCe.

This kid is going to be a bust anyways. I've watched his film color me unimpressed. His attitude and everything together it isn't worth it. 4* WR bust more than almost any other position. This guy isn't any different. Probably better for USCe.

Some of UGAs best WRs were 3* anyways. I don't get excited over WRs in recruiting.

Well that sucks. Now that a professional scout like you with your stellar reputation has chimed in, my bubble is officially burst.

How many of your 80+ posts have been about UGA ? I know this is an SEC website but come on... The dawgs are obviously occupying several cubic inches inside your dome.

Congrats on the pickup Georgia... I'd rather our secondary face him as a true frosh next season rather than for 4 consecutive years like we would if he was at Bama.

You would feel that way because you would be a total beta.
