It was reported that he had, but he said he hasn't. He wanted to wait and let WVU coaches know first, and back-tracked. Someone jumped the gun on his decision, but Alabama certainly leads.

I can almost guarantee you that a SFL kid doesn't give 2 chits what WVU coaches think. I would need to see Bama's WR board before knowing for sure my conclusion is correct, but I lean towards maybe after getting Ridley they decided they were only shooting for the elite of the elite, so they didn't take his commitment this early. Just a theory.
