Alabama landed a big offensive line commitment on Friday when 6-foot-7, 315-pound recruit Tommy Brown pledged to the Crimson Tide.
Brown, from powerhouse Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif., is an Alabama legacy. His father Vince threw the shot put in the early 1980s. He earned his Alabama offer in early June.

Nice pickup...it's crazy to think that kids that are about to be seniors in high school. Average NFL lineman in 1980s was 280 lbs.
