All the other schools he has interest in already has multiple RB commits for this class or 100% locks ready to commit. Plus he goes to school with a DB Damon Arnette who could commit to us soon and has expressed wanting to play together. I should hope the staff jumps on this guy ASAP.

I think this kid was on Sean White's hs team. I remember him being undersized? Maybe it was because he was so young though when Sean White was a senior

What made him open up? Anything besides what would seem like the obvious reason?

FSU/Miami are his favorites.

1. Jaques Patrick/Johnny Frasier also favor FSU currently....
2. Miami will be landing spot if those 2 go FSU

BTW: He knew a while ago he wasn't going to FAU. He was trying to help his former coach out

Reddit posted a tweet that I guess has since been deleted but he said this
quote:

4-star RB Jordan Scarlett (11th-best RB in '15) on de-committing from FAU: "I just wasn't ready to have to carry that whole team on my back."

Brutally honest and all but can't think it'd be worth the backlash

"I felt like FAU wasn't the best decision for me academically and out on the football field," Scarlett said. "At my position, you need your body and at FAU, I would need to carry the team and I'm trying to get my body ready for the NFL."

Nothing in his comments had anything to do with academics.

I hope he picks Miami. Williams is already thinking about flipping to UF.

If Scarlett picks Miami, they likely lose Cronkite as well.

He makes an interesting point about saving his body though. If I'm a RB I wouldn't necessarily want to be going to a school where you would be a feature back from the get go logging 20-25 carries a game.

Apparently there's a feeding frenzy on Miami RBs. UGA is pushing for Mark Walton

A lot of quality RB's considering Fla schools.

FSU: Frasier, Patrick.

Miami: Scarlett, Walton, Williams.

Still think Miami is the favorite?

Yes but I don't think he's solid. He said he's visiting UGA soon and has UGA in 2nd currently

Top four of USC, OSU, Miami, and FSU. Hasn't visited us yet so we'll see.

Miami already has Dexter Williams and Jordan Cronkite committed. Cronkite is visiting us w/in the month.

so basically, he wants to ride the pine behind other feature backs and then somehow make it to the NFL while they start over him

I'm sure that sounded very smart in his head before saying it, especially if your talking about academics

His comment was just about as stupid as yours.

Basically the selling point of a program like FAU is the main reason he committed and decommited. He only committed to help his former coach and I know that for a fact. FAU probably told him, "come in, start and be the feature back and we will run our offense around you." A little negative recruiting and maybe some research later...
