Can't lie...I would be quite mad if he picks Aubrun. He is from LSU country and he was raised to be an LSU TIGER. He shouldn't be able to go and join the bad guys like that.

Let's see what happens.

Sounds like he's picking Auburn. He's a perfect fit in that offense and will be really good. Nice pickup, congrats guys!

LSU will move on to its next target, Keytaon Thompson from New Orleans. He's another big, athletic kid who can both run and throw. He's not far off from Narcisse and I think he's all LSU.

Did God choose the arbitrary date of July 27 to bring him the clarity he needed to make a decision?

today is his birthday, he wanted to make the decision at his birthday party with his family and friends there. not quite sure how that makes it an arbitrary date

Well that was nice of God to give him that clarity for his birthday.

He said all along that Auburn's offense was a better fit for him, but I thought the distance would cause him to pick LSU in the end.

I will worry about that factor even if he picks Auburn today. Still plenty of time to change his mind assuming LSU continues to recruit him

I don't know how many QBs LSU plans on taking in their 2017 class, but they'll for sure get another top 200 player in Keytaon Thompson.

Congrats.

I think he wanted to play for LSU but realized that Auburn was the best option for him at this time. He is a perfect fit for that offense and will probably have an easier time getting on the field early there. If Harris plays well this year, Franks could end up red shirting next year. That would put him starting in 2017 at the earliest. Lowell would probably have to wait at least 2 years to have any shot at starting at LSU. No hard feelings.

He'll probably have to wait two years at AU also. Malzahn has pretty much stated Sean White is next up at AU, granted I'm sure Narcisse will have play packages he'll be in for like Jeremy Johnson was early on.

LSU will lose a lot of these "clash of system" battles to various teams with different philosophies. It is to be expected. Can't attract or take them all.The key is not missing on the ones you take.

Oh well. Good pick up Auburn.

Depth Chart is a big thing too. Sean White will probably be up next at Auburn then after that Narcisse looks to be the only real option with Woody as only competition really.

Franks is obviously our guaranteed starter once he gets going as a 2016 kid then we have Dinkelman already for 2018 so that transition shouldn't be bad. 2017 for us seems like an "insurance" QB. Kind of like our 2015 QB.

If Franks lives up to the hype or comes close, he won't be at LSU five years anyway.

Yup Narcisse is headed to my second home on the plains. He's a natural quarterback version of Nick Marshall and will be a stud for Gus after Sean White leaves. By the way Sean White was at my apartment hanging out towards the end of school and he's a really cool guy, he's gonna be a huge celebrity on campus when it's his time. Can't wait
