He's never had 2 top 100 kids on the oline in the same class.

Hrmmm, I think Mark Richt has only had 2 4* in the same class ONCE since he has been at UGA. Of course we have developed into having some decent lines based on experience, but I would argue that Mark Richt has MAYBE had 1 "good" class. He has done average in most years and below average more than above.

Patrick Allen and Sam Madden (depending on the site) in 2015
Isaiah Wynn and Dyshon Simms in 2014
Theus and Pyke (depending on the site) in 2012
Austin Long and Chris Burnette in 2009
AJ Harmon and Cordy Glenn in 2008
Chris Little and Sturdivant in 2007

We led along with Michigan when they reported it. This wasn't recent.

I still don't believe it, I'm just relaying info.

#20 and 48 OT based on composite and neither in the top 200 overall

109th composite and over 200th

Our best OL under Richt recruiting and was he even a 3*?

quote:

Austin Long and Chris Burnette in 2009

Richts best recruiting for the OL - GOOD

quote:

AJ Harmon and Cordy Glenn in 2008

Above average recruiting class for the OL - 1 top 100 rivals player

Chris Little and Sturdivant in 2007

tough to decide on this one. Neither was top 10 at their position and Little was ranked low in the State of GA...I could probably give it an above average....sad that this was probably Richts 3rd best OL class in last 10 years....

I mean, you're the one who said he only had 1 class with multiple 4* linemen. I'm not saying these guys are elite, just that he's had good o-line classes.

lol, it's pretty common knowledge we led, or at least were right at the top, not too long ago. I'm not saying UGA didn't just fly past us but the rumors of us backing off have been going around a few weeks now.

Either way doesn't matter, I wish he was coming to AU and it looks like he'll be at UGA so congrats. Hopefully we get Williams and Hamm.

Already bracing for the Rochester pain as well.

Same here. But if we land Marlon Davidson and Antwaun Jackson, it doesn't hurt nearly as bad. They're all elite

Add Michail Carter to that list, with Big Trent holding it down this year. Wow, the interior DLine is going to be nasty

Child please won't be able to hold a candle to Marshall, Rochester, Davidson, Jackson, and Cowart from last year.

Maybe. Even so, a future DL of Byron Cowart, Marlon Davidson, Prince Tega, Antwaun Jackson, David Marshall, Andrew Williams, and Dontavius Russell would be pretty stout too.

It would be really really strong. To say that a line of Rochester, Thompson, Brown, Clark and others could hold a candle to it is dumb. Just dumb.

If Carl Lawson comes back, Auburn will have TGOAT defensive ends next year. 3 five stars (Carl Lawson, Bryon Cowart, and Marlon Davidson), at lest two four stars (Prince Tega Wonogjhoso and Justin Thornton), and anybody else we might get in this class

IMO, Marlon Davidson grows into a defensive tackle.

You're missing the guy our defensive staff is drooling about, Raashed Kennion.

So, so glad we stole him from Tommy Tuberville.
