Mom was a cheerleader at UT also. Denise Conrad was her name before she married Bill Bates.

His family is from Knoxville, I'm sure that had a big pull with his decision but Dillon and his parents both made it known that if Dooley or Kiffin were still there he would have more then likely headed some where else. Probably UF or Texas
