Poor kid, has to be rough on the ego to be committed to a power5 and sign fcs letting everyone around you know you didn’t have the grades. I liked his upside a lot

Every once in a while you’ll have a player from a small school who couldn’t qualify for a big5 ball out and actually make it to the big league.

Ain’t no way those two chose JSU over Georgia and Florida. Has to be more to the story.

Read the quote. It’s pretty obvious what the story is.

Prime is going to kill it though. He’s getting a lot of P5 talent. Dude’s that couldn’t qualify and transfer bouncebacks

He may not be able to coach a lick but his roster will be way better than the team’s he is going to play

It turns out that our recruit did indeed have some grade issues. I do wish him the best there with absolutely no hard feelings.

Sounded like he didn’t go to school at all this year.

Apparently our staff didn't even send him LOI paperwork yesterday because of his academic concerns. He still held a "mock" signing day and said he was signing with Florida. Guess the staff told him to look elsewhere.

Sucks for the kid, but you have to have really fricked around and not tried to be academically ineligible during this pandemic-affected year where schools/teachers were probably incredibly lenient.

Lol peace

I liked him but as a OT I like Austin Barber better.

Gardner could end up really good guard maybe

This tell me he couldn't get into UF more then anything

To act like he picked that over UF ok

Sounds more like he was going to school online but just wasn't successful at it.

Easier to quality for some HBCU’s than a Power 5 by a long shot.

That'll do it.

I wonder if in 40 years he will have that dream about taking a final in a class he forgot about.
