Is he a take for State? He committed to us early, then Ohio State offered and he opened it up. We told him there was no longer a spot pretty early on since we were in on some national guys.
I never thought he was that special. I can't see him as a take at State or Ohio State.

He visited LSU a few times and went to at least 1 camp last year.

Coach O is just probably one of those coaches who just clicked with Davis, but wasn't highly interested in the team he coached for.
Like Pruitt and Mecole Hardman. Loves Pruitt, has little real interest in Bama's program. Pruitt sold UGA so well that he can't undo it.

He must have reached out to Ed O - even though LSU was never really a player - when he was struggling with his decision and got some good advice.

Bama coaches got his transcripts a week or so ago. He's now expected to qualify. The only reason he would have ever signed with MSU is as a sign and place, if he weren't expected to qualify.
He's a physical specimen if there ever was one, but a big project. Very raw right now. Hopefully Bo Davis can get it out of him.

We were never in it for him. The kid seemed to be more interested in State, Bama and LSU, and once it appeared he was in academic trouble, we ditched all efforts. Seems like the kid really enjoys Coach O considering he got a shoutout in that tweet.

^ This X 100...I've watch him play for 3 years and our HS played against them this year. He gets lost in the wash and his pad level gets way too high. Our interior OL basically neutralized him going one on one and really wasn't impressed. If he can ever get the fundamentals down to muscle memory he could be a beast but that switch hasn't been thrown yet.
