Now 247 is getting in on it.

In a turn of events, Raekwon Davis tells @BamaOnline247 that he is still committed to #Bama LINK

As a Bama fan, I don't worry about it. Saban will still get good recruits.

I hope we keep him and he qualifies. If he doesn't qualify or flips them so be it. Since he is a risk, Alabama needs another 300 plus pound DT for depth. Kendell Jones is our top guy and he's my favorite since A'Shawn Robinson signed.

Our DL depth for 2016:

Allen, Hand, Payne, Tomlinson, Frazier. Plus Hulk Jones, Quinnen Williams, and whoever else we sign.

Sounds like Saban called and said "No you're not. We'll see you at Bama in a couple of years; enjoy Kansas!"

Good get for state.
From an outsiders perspective, it appears that Bama is content to "lose" him, as they think he may not qualify, while state appears to be happy he is committed just to make their class look better whether he qualifies or not. Either way, I wish y'all would start making this thread more interesting

Does this even matter? He's going to be recruited again after Juco.

I actually hope he goes to MSU (Juco). If he flips, there will be MSU fans and several Bama fans doing this.

I don't know what his status is, only what I read on here. I just would rather see a better melt by Bama, but since they aren't, I think I know what they are thinking

The real recruiting battle will be between EMCC and CoLin for Davis

He's committed to State, the phone fiasco was related to the message to Bama Mag that he hadn't flipped

NB4 Bama didn't really want him.

Doesn't make any kind of sense that he flips from the defending SEC and national champions to play at Mississippi State.

Got to be more to the story.

Just shut up. That's such a stupid way of thinking. What state is he from? Are there possible grade issues? I could go on...

You might be surprised then. Lots of issues going on at EMCC with their coach fighting refs and his players getting in bench clearing brawls. Co-Lin is Mississippi state friendly

Sorry, don't follow it that closely. Just know that emcc is the better school for recruits lately and figured that he would go there if he went juco, didn't realize they had issues now

From an inside perspective, it seems Bama fans are ok with it and a few OM fans are pissy as fuk
