The funniest thing about this is originally SP was on a 7on7 that was funded by an LSU booster. Then when he commits to Ole Miss he and his family are suddenly deemed a "negative influence" and booted off. Now it seems as though every chance some LSU fan can bash him or his family they go out of their way to do so. Not sure why they can not be classy, accept it and wish him luck.....or just keep their mouths shut.

What part of that do you disagree with? Why else was the best qb in the area be removed? As far as the argument goes on why they allow Bama commits on the team, let me remind you that Shea, unlike the bama commits has shut down his recruitment and refocused that attention on recruiting for OM. Surely you can see why a LSU booster would have a problem with that. And link where DJ said this insightful one. When is this obsession with Shea going to end?

To be fair, a lot of LSU fans were gracious and told us "good get" and that they look forward to the battles between SP and Franks. Those are the level-headed, intelligent LSU fans.
Try not to focus on the dipshit, looney bird section of it that thinks David Johnson not only said those types of things, but also has any power whatsoever. The likeliest explanations behind that rumor are:
The butthurt is strong among some.
or
Eli Johnson wanted to sound cool to the guys so he said that stuff and now all of a sudden it was David.
Either are possible, but God, the bad LSU fans really just spew the dumbest shite on this site. I feel bad for guys like AdamDemamp and tigerbait that they have to deal with these guys/get lumped in with them.

David Johnson saying it doesn't mean that anybody actually believed he wielded any power. Him not having power also doesn't mean he didn't say it.

I definitely didn't hatch that "conspiracy" and it's definitely not as though you are seeing Ole Miss fans run around making threads about recruits that have spurned our program..... whereas LSU can't make that claim. That being said the more logical equation is what someone just posted about a booster being "skurred" of getting some potential recruits "poached" off the Bootleggers!
