I think Willis was recruited before he got there, but there are plenty of other examples regardless.

Also Chris Kiffin and Grant Heard worked in our administration under O and Dan Werner was his OC. Half of our staff learned to recruit under O.

Yep. There was a lot of talent on those teams, especially considering how bad the teams were that e was recruiting them to join

This thread is making me want to read Meat Market again.

ETA: If someone came out with a Meat Market-type book every year, I would read it every year, with any team, even San Jose St.

You can pick out star players out of most classes when their college careers are all said and done. His best class at Ole Miss was good for 15th and he backed that up with a class in the 30s, your statement is idiotic, you just showed your opinions are worthless. I'm not one to measure all of one's success on ranked recruiting classes but you seem to not know. You are correct though now that he's at LSU it's a lot easier for him to recruit, I didn't feel like it needed to be said but you wanted to hear it.

Those classes were good for back to back wins over LSU

I think most posters are fully aware to some extent that every program is paying players, but do you think it's weird we all mainly stick it with Ole Miss? Like the other reply yall don't really do it in a way where it's open for interpretation.

That's because we're the "new kid on the block." The quick rise we've had will do that. All schools cheat, label us cheaters if you want, who the frick cares? Just makes said person an idiot and a hypocrite

Nothing to try. Stating facts. You're the one trying to promote something.

Would love him to join our class but I hope he isn't scared of depth because we are stacked. Will probably go elsewhere

Ole Miss lock. That said, I don't LSU is going to miss him. He'd be the right around the 4th best corner in LSU's class.

I think it depends on what number the boosters write on that check.
