If Bama fans don't say "Run, Forristall, run!" then what are they doing with their lives?

really like this kid. Hope UGA doesn't offer.

Me too. He's been tearing it up at camps. Only played TE for 9 months (used to be a QB). Keep concentrating on Woerner, UGa!

He's coming from a great program. He'd still be the qb but they brought in another kid who's tearing it up as well. He needs to put on some weight but he'll be pretty good for you guys.

Several GA posters on 247 are talking about why GA didn't offer and that this kid is legit.

Landon Rice backup plan obviously.

No. Just no.
One is a pass catcher and the other a blocker. Alabama has their sights set on Darryl Middleton for the blocking TE role.

Good get Bama. I know Mizzou offered him.
Speaking of TE's, from reading it sounds like you're still after one more TE. Is that right? What's the scoop with the Scales kid out of Missouri? TBH I was shocked that Bama offered him, much less that it was commitable. I don't think Mizzou even offered him. Not that he's a horrible player or bad kid. Just the opposite. I just question if he's at the level of some of these other TE's being discussed.
Does Scales stay at Bama or do you see them finding better options for both parties down the road? Just curious.

We offered right before Bama did. He'd been wanting a Mizzou offer for a while, and when it came late I read he wasn't happy about it. Will be interesting to see if Bama keeps him or if he gets processed.

Bama wants 3 because they are likely losing 2 and leaving a converted Senior DT atop the depth chart in 2016 with only Hale Hentges in his 2nd year behind him.
Scales is a combo guy at TE and HB, while Forristall looks like a pure HB until he puts on weight. They are looking for a 3rd who is a true inline TE and/or Nick Eubanks for the package deal.

Damn, 220lbs? Julio was 220 in '08. Move his arse to receiver.

Meh. With his frame, he could put on 25 pounds in no time and not lose any speed.
