Pointing out fact is not criticizing.

He had about 0 offers a month ago, but you wouldn't know that. Quit speaking on things you don't know about. Kid has been to 4/5 camps the last few weeks and has been offered immediately at all of them. Situation where a guy changed his body a ton and has started to dominate the camp circuit.

The OL recruiting since Grimes arrived has put Stud to shame.

Do you hear the sound of jimmies rustling slowly in the wind?

Do you taste the subtle notes of jealousy in the tears?

Really nice pickup...

Although I wouldn't bet against Matt Luke longterm on a kid like this...

I'm well aware of his offer progression. Hence my comment on his offer list. As I said, he's a very good player. However, at this time his offer list is not indicative of a high 4* player as the comment I originally responded to stated. Definitely a very solid pickup for LSU however. I expect that he will be very successful in that offense.

Big time pickup Tigers... Forgettable weekend for OM recruiting wise... Hopefully Coach Luke can muddy the water up on this one further down the road.

Is he, like, an off-brand Warmack?

The young man is blowing up at the right time. He evidently has been impressive on the camp circuit.

I would imagine the State, Ole Miss, SC and a few other coaches have been watching his progression very closely as well as LSU. 6'7" OL are not a plentiful commodity.

a 370 lb OL seems like a terrible fit for Ole Miss's offense... not even sure why freeze would be after him, to be honest.

I'll trust our coaching staff when it comes to offering a recruit. With that said, either Ole Miss or MSU might have something to say about where he ends up. We will see.

TIFWIW, but I just read where his father said he will take no more visits (except to LSU for a game), his recruiting is over and he is meeting with counselors to early enroll and sign financial commitment paperwork asap. OM better work quick sounds like.

Are you retarded? He just camped at a top SEC school and was offered on the spot! What more do you need to know other than that? Seriously think about that. A top SEC team with a top notch OL coach offered him and you don't think this guy is 4* quality? This class is loaded and we (LSU) just passed on an in-state OL and didn't even go after him. WE don't look at rankings. If a school like LSU/Bama/etc wants someone, that someone is worthy of 4 star or better consideration.
