It's his size. He's fast, he reads plays well, and he takes on and sheds blocks well. He's a REALLY good HS inside LBer. But, as of right now, he's too small to play inside LBer in the SEC. And that's why he's a three star.

Nice of Lodge to commit to secure his teammate a scholarship. Wonder where Lodge will play next year

I have no idea, but he lines up inside in HS.

Just wait till he gets his bump for committing to the Aggies. It happens these days.

Moore is second in Texas 5A in TFL. He earned his scholarship on his own. Only rated 3 star because he needs to gain some weight but he has the frame for it.

Moore was an EARLY LB offer (March) for A&M...they've always had him as a priority

I guess so, but his film is awesome. Not Malik Jefferson level, but close. He is unblockable at the highest level of HS football in America.

I'll take my chances with his size. He's already bigger than Denzel Nkemdiche is and he is doing pretty well for himself in the SEC.

No argument that LF will be a very good player but also very overhyped. He isn't Herschel or Bo. Although he was rated as the top recruit last year there is no way he will be the top freshman in terms of impact in the SEC.

That will go to Myles Garrett or Kyle Allen.

Not enough sand in his pants to stop the running game of LSU or the Gumps...As usual, 5 star offense; 3 star defenders.

Because we don't have a 5 star defensive recruit committed and we definitely have no chance getting more. I'm also sure LSU doesn't recruit any 3 stars for their defense.

He's not all there. No reason to waste your efforts in trying to explain it to him.

Is 6'1 accurate for him? Either way, looking at his shoulder width, I'd say 15 more Lbs is about his optimal playing weight.

Stars incorporate a lot of things so it could be a number of things. 171 is a ton of tackles and i personally love this kid (on tape). Loved Claiborne and the kid from karr (mlb) who went to Nebraska too. Hope he beefs up and plays in the middle like claiborne. Should definitely lead A&M team in tackles at some point.
