Beating Ole Miss regularly? I suppose he might be doing that going forward.

Dammit Dan. He completely dropped the ball for me on that one.

I hear what you are really saying...
No, not many power conference offers, just us, South Carolina and Missouri from the SEC.
However, if he's good enough for Robb and Vernon he's good enough for me.
He's got the frame and by accounts is a big hitter, we've got Herbert and time to fill him out.
Odds are he'll be a solid SEC player.

Ahhhh, I wouldn't call you a smartass, but I knew what you were getting at.

We haven't ever loaded up on 5*'s, or even lots of 4*'s on a regular basis (although we did get quite a few 4*'s last year, more than usual.)

We'll win a few recruiting battles for higher rated players, lose a few, but by and large we've made our living with high 3's.

Hoping a good year this year will up our average.

Seems like most of the dudes Bret's signed out of FL have busted, except for Collins (who was a virtual can't-miss)

This is his 3rd year, a lil hard for me to call a rising sophomore a bust. Guess that's what happens when you have depth and don't rely on true freshmen

Yea.... But none of them have played much either. Besides Collins and Denver Kirkland that is.

Of the 14 from Florida on our 2015 roster, 10 are either freshmen, RS freshmen or sophomores.
A little early to declare them 'busts'.

Of the 4 who are Juniors or above (Kirkland, Collins, Josh Williams and Jeremiah Lebetter) we know Kirkland and Collins definitely aren't busts, Josh Williams hasn't set the world on fire but should do better this year, and Ledbetter, the incoming JUCO DT doesn't look like a bust.

Randy Ramsey became ineligible by not taking care of things academically last semester. He is gone. So he might be chalked up as a bust, but it wasn't because of talent, he would have played a lot this year.

Jojo and Kendrick got in the doghouse but appear to have worked their way out. They just didn't understand how things are done up here I guess.

So: Too early to declare, 12, Definitely not busts 2, BUST - 1.

I may not be remembering a player or two (remind me if you think of any), but I don't think we can call CBB's Florida recruiting full of busts yet.

(ETA: Sorry, Darrion - meant this as a reply to LowSpark.)

Coley should be a starter next year. Ramsey would have started this year if he didn't get kicked off.

It's not like they haven't been players. They're just not model citizens off the field.

Forgot about Coley...we have more talent in the secondary since 06 but they are young and don't have recruiting star power.

Our secondary is very underrated going into the season
