2X state champ, Gatorade POY in AR, monster SR year.
Watched his highlight film and the kid can definitely sling it.
Was previously committed to Wake Forest. Had a handful of other middling offers.
Looks pretty damn underrated to me. What gives Arky bros?

Great pickup.
If Alabama hadn't gotten Tua this kid was high on my list as one I wish Saban would go after.

Yeah, I like him a lot. Not sure why he didn't revive more interest. He's maybe a bit short is all I can come up with. Wouldn't say he is a dual threat but looks to move around in the pocket very well and is able to scramble enough to keep a defense honest.

If we were taking 2 QBs in this class we might have offered him but we got Hyatt. As long as our current staff is here Cole Kelley will be our QB for 3 years after Allen leaves regardless.
I've met him before though he's a high character kid. Hopefully for us he doesn't turn into another Crockett lol

Long time committed to Wake.
Came on unofficials in 15 and at least one camp in 16.
Enos only targeted a few QB's in 2017, landed Hyatt in March and he just enrolled early.

Most schools figured if he was good Arkansas would have offered its literally next door
But Arkansas got like the first or second guy they wanted at and was done at qb last April.

I really really like Connor noraf but he has top 5 pick mlb draft type stuff he wont sniff campus. I wonder if we take 2 next year

I live in Fayetteville, he is a gamer! He should rock at Mizzoo with the spread.
Bret won't recruit spread QB's. HE is a smart kid and comes from a great family.

Looking at his videos he looks like a very good scrambler who will move around as he looks over the whole field and can also hit receivers through windows. I hope he's as good a qb as Crockett was a rb last year since Arky didn't offer either.

That's not entirely right. Pretty much all of our QB's played in spread offenses in HS. What he doesn't do is recruit dual threat QBs.

If an Arkansas player is good enough to garner legit D1 offers there is almost no excuse for Arkansas not offering considering how relatively little D1 talent comes out of our state. Just my opinion.

I could maybe agree to a certain extent but not at all positions. If Enos sees a QB he likes and gets him first, I trust him on that front.

Yeah I would have to disagree at QB and especially when he's from FHS. We take one QB per class. If you can get a better QB out of state then you do it. This also isn't some kid down in Pine Bluff that the staff barely sees. We currently have 7 FHS players on the roster including 3-4 starters next year from there. They have unfettered access to that school since it's right across the street from campus. I'm good if they pass on a kid from there.

I would agree mostly. Same in Missouri really, but QB is a bit different. You're usually only taking one so sometimes you have to let an in state kid go if you think the guy you got is better.

Probably more quality DL and WR than we could even take in one class if we wanted too.
Thompson DL, Trout DL and Babb WR are all national recruits.
Carlson DL, Perkins DL, Parker DL Goodrich ATH, Craddieth ATH aren't too far behind. Several more that will likely go P5. This class is WAY deeper than '17.
