We passed on him over the summer and then Michigan did as well if I remember correctly.

It seems that this is not the first recruiting year LSU expected to land a higher rated recruit at a position of need, only to see those later deciders pick someone else.
You could do worse than Reid certainly, and it will be interesting to see what linebackers they eventually land.
