Jesse's position coach is former NFL WR Todd Pinkston and he has been working with Jesse since he was in 9th grade. Jesse is a WR and will be a good one on the next level.

Also if he wasn't a good WR why would Under Armor select him for their all star game.

No one said he wasn't good.

It's just that if he doesn't pan out at WR or the team he commits to ends up not needing him at that position, he could possibly play on defense.

Has the dude been that bad? I dont keep up with Auburn football that much. I know a lot of times we catch ourselves looking at the white guy on defense as being slow or not good enough.

However the last 2 white guys to start at LB for Mississippi State are both now in the NFL and the next guy who will FR Richie Brown is playing a ton as a freshman and has a lot of potential for us.

So are you trying to say Tobias Singleton wasn't talented because he washed out at Ole Miss?

Are you trying to say that he possesses SEC talent (not the same thing as Mississippi State talent)?

Well, yeah, as someone else said...unfortunately.

The guy is the worst linebacker I've ever seen hit the field for Auburn, or for any college for that matter. The only thing that keeps him on the field is his knowledge of the defensive scheme because he sure as hell can't cover anyone, take on a block, or make a tackle in the open field. At least he tries hard, gives 110%, and stays out of trouble, I guess.
