Kid ran a 5.0 40 at the opening........ I think Welter was at least a 4.7-4.8 white baw

He runs plenty fast with pads on in games. And he has a propensity to deliver a blow.

Minus the opponents Oline, he will be the slowest kid on the field in SEC competition.

It's weird that so many teams (UF, FSU, LSU, UM, MSU, OSU, UT, UCLA) offered such a slow guy.

News of his lack of speed came out at a camp this past spring. He ran like a 5.0 40. After that, many teams backed way off. I don't know that LSU ever had significant interest. Dont get me wrong though, this is a great pickup for you guys

OSU stopped recruiting this kid months ago.
Turned our focus to kids in Texas like browning and Hines, ironically enough.
They seem like better prospects. A&M should recruit those guys.

5.0 40 isn't being biased buddy. It's just pointing out that the kid isn't your savior. Trust me, we have been where you are now.........it leads to some arse kickings by any team with a running game.

Its one 40 time, for all you know the kid hurt his ankle that day. He has offers from a lot of big time programs including LSU, obviously he doesn't look slow on tape
