So you've spoken with him?

None of us know where he's going.

Mother of God I hope you're not that stupid that you missed the point of that post. Something tells me you are, but I'm praying to humanity that you're not that sententious.

Looks like he is coming to the A&M Junior Day this weekend. When it comes to QB recruiting Sumlin is awfully tough. Interesting.

I'm really disappointed in the results of that hook. I thought that was going to be a good one.

Shea is just having fun at the present time. there are 2 major factors in his recruitment (felipe franks at LSU, and his brother at LSU). no one knows where either of those 2 will end up and until you know that you do not have any real idea where Shea will play football.

1st cherry picked stats from certain time frames which still show we own Ole Miss

Good morning, sunshine. There's no need to be so angry first thing in the morning like that. No one said Ole Miss owns LSU, so you're trying to argue against a point that no one made.

This is exactly what I was trying to say before that one douche bag came in drooling all over his keyboard. There are mitigating factors here that need to work themselves out before we will have an idea of where he signs. To that point, do LSU fans think Franks signs at LSU? Or could he be a late flip elsewhere?

Franks ruffled some feathers a few months ago by tweeting "I believe in commitments" or something, right after attending camp alongside Shea. Not that his comment wasn't respectable, but it spurred the belief that Franks was initially told he would be the only QB taken, right before Shea blew up. Reading between the lines, the LSU coaches are hesitant to make a decision. That's where the "OM is recruiting me hardest" thing comes from, Cam and Les don't like the idea of breaking their word to Franks, but they both want Shea bad. The longer this situation continues, the better USC and OM's chances get.

That puts both LSU and Franks in a bad spot.

You have to respect the kid for caring about his commitment and his word. You also can't fault him for being annoyed that LSU is recruiting another player at his position, that unlike WR or DE or something, only one player can play at a time and per game for the most part.

You also can't blame LSU for pursuing Shea. He is a potential top-five pick in the draft and he is in-state for Godsake.

Freeze took a 2 star JUCO with a shitty throwing motion and limited arm strength and Got 3k yards with 20td on avg out of him in the SEC. Just imagine what we are going to do with Patterson!

Franks will be the next QB Cameron ruins and Shea will be dropping bombs for the Rebs

It will all be worked out by the summer camps. Franks has the build that MLB scouts love, and that would make things awfully simple. I think the Sean thing is overplayed, like someone else said he'll probably take a job in a smaller conference soon where he will be really given responsibilities and not be just a play for his brother. Shea's decision will likely come down to depth charts and coaching relationships, so I like LSU's chances. Cam isn't dumb, he'll go all in on the player he thinks is the best before it's too late.

Why would he even want to play in the LSU offense?

1) Ole Miss has had the better total and better passing offense over LSU each of the past three years (Freeze era).

2) Ole Miss has stability at their coaching positions. Since Freeze has taken over, only two have left and both were defensive assistants that left for promotions (Crimedog to Saints and Tom Allen to USF DC).

3) As another poster said, Freeze turned Bo Wallace, a guy who only had offers from Arkansas State and Tennessee Tech, and turned him into a good SEC QB. Not great, but not terrible either. He'd have a lot of success with Shea.
