And Detric Dukes, who is coming to UGA. We have a bunch of kids from Tucker at UGA. It's just another talent-rich HS

Ledbetter is teammates with Shaw.
Yeah sounds like he help push him to commit. Are you guys going to take the gimp to ensure Ledbetter and process him or just take your chances that Shaw won't be a bitch a push him to decommit when you don't take Shaw on NSD?

Elisha Shaw, three-star defensive tackle from Tucker High School in Atlanta, Ga., will not commit or sign with Alabama. I don't know what he is telling anyone else, but he is likely not playing football again. Will he end up at Alabama? Possibly, but not as a football player. I have been told he has talked with Alabama about possibly working in the recruiting office. That's about it. Just wanted to clear the air for all those who have questioned Alabama's intentions with Shaw.

Prior to the start of his junior season, most colleges didn't even know who Tucker (Ga.) defensive end Jonathan Ledbetter was. That's because the 6-foot-4, 254-pounder had spent the previous two years of his high school career playing at a small private school off the recruiting radar.
But just a few short months later, after dominating during his junior season and turning in a standout performance at the Under Armour Underclassmen Combine, the Rivals250 prospect reeled in double-digit offers and capped off his meteoric rise by committing to Alabama over the weekend.

Shaw would first have to be admitted to Bama on his own academic merits, no? I have always heard grades as much as the neck have been a problem. Feel bad for the kid, but that is why one should always look to their learning first. football can always be taken away.

Definitely. He may be able to work in the recruiting office, but he'll have to worry about getting through high school first.
