Hopefully soon. His commitment brought our average star rating down

You know that bump is coming

The fact that both LSU and Alabama wanted him trumps his ranking, even if he gets a bump.

Bucc, who are you kidding. Barrett Jones was ranked a four star and the number 1 center out of high school. That's not a good comparison.

Yeah that's not the best comparison, but Jones did play LT for arguably the best Alabama team during Saban's tenure.

He will get a bump but only because he deserves one. Kid can play.

Good luck to the kid. The NFL isn't for everyone...He has to take the right path for himself.

well, Matt will get his bump. Period. And it is well deserved. Why he isn't a four star already is beyond me

Solid troll. I'll bite. One team has three olinemen currently on active roster in the NFL while the other team has eight. I'll let you guess which one is which.

This kid has been much better than a 3-star, #70 OL in the country for a long time. The ridiculous part is that the recruiting sites were more than happy to underrate him until he flipped to their baby. I wish we could have kept him, but we'll have to go out and turn up the heat on some other guys. Hopefully, we can pick up a couple as good or better.

Really? That's the idiotic comment you're going with? One school produces first round NFL draft picks at the position with regularity. The other doesn't. In fact, one school's entire 2012 offensive line is on active NFL rosters. I'll let you guess which school this happens to be.

Just having a little fun.

No,I don't think the kid can go wrong either way. Neither school takes chopped liver. Of course I'd like to see him at LSU- but if not, I wish him only the best.

He's not that good of a player and doesn't have the best feet in the world. He has a ton of offers b/c he has an NFL frame (6'7" 325) I think that he's rated about where he should be.

Dealio. We need oline more than WR

Yeah so do we. Can't understand why half of our classes the past 4 years have been WRs and DBs.

Wouldn't surprise me if this were true. We showed early interest, but never even offered.
