Haven't heard much of anything about him with Bama. An elite WR that Bama is in better shape with is Calvin Ridley though at this point the safe bet is him going to Miami.
With losing Christion Jones, Amari Cooper, and DeAndrew White Bama needs to land some elite WRs. This year will either make or break our WR recruiting depending on how they perform.

Clemson has zero chance to sign him, but as long as we have Morris and continue to pump-out bigtime WRs to the NFL we'll be in on alot of guys. Add in that he's a Texas product, and it makes sense. We'll falloff his map by August, though.

While I am skeptical of these recent reports, I would hope that the person that reported this on 247 is not just going off of a twitter feed and actually spoke with the kid.

The strange part is that Connor Dyer posted something similar on Twitter after Bartow wrote something about his top three
I don't think the reporter is misrepresenting information on purpose or anything but maybe just some sort of misunderstanding. Something where those three for Lodge are gaining momentum with him but not necessarily his top three. Who knows

Ryan Bartow, the 247 reporter, did interview these kids. Shea Dixon said he helped Bartow transcribe some of the interviews, and he vouches for Bartow. The kids could be trying to spread disinformation, or it could be a case of miscommunication.

Or with how Twitter is, you probably had a number of A&M, Baylor, Texas fans, etc. all send something at him asking about it and he just wants all of that to stop.
