Isn't saying someone can't be a fan of a school if they never went there, kind of like saying if you don't live in New Orleans you can't be a Saints fan? I mean, I have seen people say that a lot...but it just doesn't make sense. There are students that go to every school that never attend a single sporting event....what makes them a better fan than someone that never went to the school but holds season tickets and supports the school?
Just seems like fuzzy logic, to me.

I didn't go to LSU. My family moved to TN a number of years ago. but we're from LA, have many roots to LSU. Sidewalk fans are pretty crucial.
